Cobalex 2000 Injection is used to treat and control Vitamin B12 Deficiency in Sheep and Cattle.
Vitamin B12 is an essential component of several enzymes involved in normal metabolism. It is stored in the liver and is necessary for appetite, energy maintenance, production and growth.
Active Ingredient: 2 mg/mL Hydroxocobalamin (as the acetate)
Dosage:
Sheep – 1 – 1.5mL pre lambing
Lambs: 0.5mL at marking or weaning
Cows: 4 – 6 mL pre calving
Calves: 2 -3 mL from 2 months of age
Give by subcutaneous injection only. The frequency of dosing should be related to the severity of deficiency. Consult an animal health advisor for advice specific for your flock or herd.
Contraindications:
This product is contraindicated for use unless cobalt deficiency is confirmed.
This product is contraindicated for use in sheep that are dehydrated or unwell.
