What Farmco Recommends It For:

Farmco recommends Troy Vitamin ADE Injection for treating and preventing vitamin A, D, and E deficiencies in cattle, sheep, and pigs. It’s particularly valuable at key production stages — pre-calving, post-birth, and during periods of limited green feed or UV exposure. If your animals are showing signs of ill thrift, poor growth, night blindness, or white muscle disease, this is where to start.

Why It’s a Farmco Favourite:

Troy Vitamin ADE Injection is Australian made, which means you’re supporting local manufacturing while getting a quality, proven product you can rely on. The 500mL pack comes with a 6-month broach period, so nothing goes to waste — a real win for smaller operations or mixed livestock properties. With zero withholding periods and no schedule, it’s a practical, no-fuss addition to any livestock health kit.

Three Vitamins, One Injection

Vitamin A, D, and E deficiencies can quietly chip away at your herd or flock’s performance — reducing growth rates, reproductive success, immune function, and general condition. Troy Vitamin ADE Injection delivers all three fat-soluble vitamins in a single intramuscular dose, correcting deficiencies fast and supporting your animals when dietary sources fall short.

Why Each Vitamin Matters

Vitamin A supports immunity, epithelial tissue health, reproductive performance, night vision, and bone development. In ruminants, deficiencies often arise from a lack of green feed, poor-quality hay, or old feed — signs include night blindness, watery eyes, ill thrift, and low reproductive rates.

Vitamin D3 regulates the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, supporting bone strength and calcium absorption. Stock in southern Australia are at particular risk during winter when UV radiation is insufficient for natural D3 synthesis — watch for hunched backs, rickets, and ill thrift.

Vitamin E works alongside selenium as a powerful antioxidant, protecting tissues from free radical damage. Cattle and sheep cannot synthesise Vitamin E, so they rely entirely on dietary sources. A lack of green pick or poor grain quality can lead quickly to deficiency — presenting as weakness, lameness, and white muscle disease.
