How Troy Repel-X Works

Repel-X combines insecticides, repellents and a synergist in one spray. Pyrethrins knock down insects on contact, while diethyltoluamide (DEET), di-N-propyl isocinchomeronate and citronella keep them from landing. Piperonyl butoxide and N-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide boost the knockdown power of the pyrethrins.

In laboratory trials, Repel-X still knocked down 75% of flies and 57% of other biting insects 12 hours after treatment. That means fewer bites, less stamping and tail-swishing, and more comfortable animals.

Easy to Apply

Spray the animal lightly for a few seconds, using a sweeping motion from head to rear. Avoid spraying near the eyes. When insects are bad, apply twice a day.
