What Farmco Recommends It For:
MOXXI™ Pour-On is our go-to for cattle and red deer producers needing broad-spectrum parasite control. It works especially well in tick-prone regions and on properties managing barber’s pole worm, lungworm, and lice. Run a strategic cattle tick program? MOXXI™ delivers the persistent activity to back it up.
Why It’s a Farmco Favourite:
MOXXI™ matches Cydectin® on active constituent, dose rate, and species coverage — at a price that makes sense. Nil withholding periods for cattle meat and milk keep your management options open. The rainfast, non-irritant formulation gets the job done even when Australian weather doesn’t cooperate.
MOXXI™ Pour-On contains 5g/L Moxidectin for powerful, persistent parasite protection. Apply it along the topline and it goes to work fast. It’s a straightforward solution for Australian producers managing parasite pressure in cattle and red deer herds.
Broad-Spectrum Control That Works Hard for Your Stock
Parasite pressure costs you productivity. MOXXI™ Pour-On fights back. It uses second-generation macrocyclic lactone Moxidectin to target internal and external parasites in cattle. That includes barber’s pole worm, small brown stomach worm, black scour worm, nodule worm, cattle tick, lice, and mange mites. For red deer, it controls lungworm and key gastrointestinal roundworms.
Persistent Protection That Keeps Working
One application protects cattle from Ostertagia ostertagi and lungworm for up to 42 days. It holds Haemonchus placei for 28 days and aids buffalo fly control for up to 14 days. For cattle tick, use 21-day treatment intervals. MOXXI™ also tackles organophosphate, pyrethroid, and amidine-resistant strains.
Safe Across the Herd
MOXXI™ has a wide safety margin. Use it across all ages and breeds — pregnant cows and breeding bulls included. Pair it with mineral supplements, fluke treatments, and vaccines without issue. Don’t apply it at the same time as another pour-on. In lactating dairy cattle, wait at least 21 days between treatments.
Application
Apply along the topline from withers to the base of the tail. Dose at 1mL per 10kg liveweight (0.5mg/kg). Weigh a sample before treatment and dose to the heaviest animal in each group. Don’t underdose — draft into separate lines if size varies significantly within the mob.
