Bomectin™ Antiparasitic Injection for Cattle and Pigs
Bomectin Antiparasitic Injection is a broad spectrum parasiticide for beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cows, as well as pigs. Bomectin™ Injection Important Information
Bomectin Injection is effective against ivermectin-susceptible parasites, but resistance may develop to any drench. Consult your veterinarian for detailed advice on a parasite control program.
Dosage and Administration
CATTLE: Dosage is 1mL/50kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection in the neck.
PIGS: Dosage is 1mL/33kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection in the neck.
If possible, administer high on the neck behind the ear. Do not use intravenously or intramuscularly. Do not underdose.
Always read and follow label directions.
Withholding Periods
MEAT (PIGS & CATTLE): DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
MILK: DO NOT USE in lactating cows or within 28 days of calving where milk or milk products may be used or processed for human consumption.
EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): DO NOT USE less than 42 days before slaughter for export.
