Startect® is an effective short-acting oral sheep drench that manages resistance better to optimise the health of your animals.

Startect® by Zoetis is an effective short acting drench with a dual action formula to maintain the health of your sheep.

The dual action formula allows for greater resistance and prolongs effectiveness of older drenches which are more susceptible to resistance.

Active Ingredients: Derquantel @ 10mg/ml & Abamectin @ 1mg/ml

  • Short acting unique product with Pro-Active Dual Drench Technology containing Derquantel & Abamectin
  • High resistance to most damaging worms – including those resistant to existing drenches
  • Prolongs effectiveness of older drenches
  • Resistance of Derquantel will be delayed as it won’t be exposed as a single-active drench
  • Safe to use in pregnant and lactating ewes

Restraints: Do NOT use in lambs under 6 weeks of age or less than 15kg bodyweight.

Safe to use: In pregnant ewes, lambs as young as 6 weeks old or heavier than 15kg and rams

 

Withholding Periods:

Meat: Do NOT use less than 14 days before slaughter for human consumption.

Milk: Do NOT use in female sheep which are producing or may in the future produce milk or milk products for human consumption.

Re-treatment interval: Do NOT re-treat for 28 days after last treatment.

ESI: Do NOT use less than 28 days less than slaughter for export.

 

Storage: Store below 30°c and protect from sunlight.
