Vetsense Permetrol 1L – Effective Insect and Fly Treatment for Horses and Dogs

Active Constituents

Vetsense Permetrol 1L contains 40g/L Permethrin 25:75 (cis:trans), a powerful active ingredient that provides reliable and fast-acting protection against a variety of pests for both horses and dogs.

For Horses: Control Flies, Ticks, and Queensland Itch

Vetsense Permetrol is a must-have for horse owners. It provides exceptional control over pyrethroid-sensitive flies, including buffalo flies (Haematobia irritans exigua) and stable flies (Stomoxys calcitrans). Additionally, it targets biting insects such as Culicoides sp. and helps treat Queensland itch (Culicoides bite hypersensitivity). To use, dilute 10mL of Permetrol with 400mL of water or methylated spirits for rapid drying. Spray your horse’s coat thoroughly. For tick protection, especially in paralysis tick areas, daily application is recommended, and regular tick removal should be performed.

For Dogs: Flea and Tick Control, Relief from Dermatitis

Vetsense Permetrol offers powerful flea control, targeting both Ctenocephalides felis and Ct canis (fleas) as well as adult ticks (Rhipicephalus sp.). It also helps alleviate symptoms of allergic dermatitis and summer eczema. To apply, dilute 10mL in 400mL of water and spray your dog’s coat completely, ensuring good coverage. For flea control, treat weekly, and for flea allergies, spray or rinse daily until symptoms are controlled. Continue as necessary for ongoing relief.

Zone Control for Flea Management

For best results, treat the animal’s environment. Clean bedding and resting places, then regularly spray the area with the diluted solution. Vacuum or clean carpets and surrounding areas frequently. Year-round treatment is recommended to prevent flea infestations.
