Dectomax Pour-On for Cattle 5L – Trusted Parasite Protection at Farmco

Protect your herd and maximise productivity with Dectomax® Pour-On Endectocide. It is now available in a 5L backpack from Farmco, your local livestock supply specialist. Designed for Australian conditions, this broad-spectrum parasiticide offers long-lasting protection against internal and external parasites in cattle. Its easy-to-use topical application makes parasite control simple and effective for all stock classes and ages.

Active Ingredient: Doramectin @ 5 mg/mL

Dectomax Pour-On contains doramectin at 5 mg/mL, a highly effective endectocide known for extended activity. This powerful ingredient provides long-lasting protection, reducing treatment frequency and improving herd productivity.

Powerful and Persistent Parasite Control

Dectomax Pour-On targets parasites that impact herd health and performance the most. It provides persistent activity for up to 35 days against the five major gastrointestinal worms, including Ostertagia ostertagi, Haemonchus placei, and Cooperia spp. It also controls buffalo flies for up to 14 days. Additionally, it fights lungworms, sucking and biting lice, mange mites, cattle ticks, and eye worms.

Convenient Dosing with Broad Safety Margin

Dosing is simple — apply 1 mL per 10 kg bodyweight along the mid-line of the back. The pour-on formulation avoids injections and reduces stress on livestock. Dectomax is safe for calves, pregnant cows, and breeding bulls thanks to its wide safety margin.

Zero Milk Withholding, Extended Meat WHP

Dectomax Pour-On has a nil milk withholding period, making it ideal for dairy cattle at dry-off. It has a 42-day meat withholding period and a 42-day export slaughter interval (ESI) for meat production. This ensures peace of mind when managing slaughter timelines.

Rainfast and Reliable

Dectomax Pour-On remains effective even if the animal’s coat is wet during application. While best applied to dry hides, the formulation resists rainfall shortly after treatment — a key benefit in unpredictable Australian weather.
