Rechargeable Livestock Prod | Bainbridge Dominator 33cm - Shop Online

What Farmco Recommends It For:

We recommend the Bainbridge Dominator rechargeable livestock prod for truck drivers, drovers and farmers who load, draft and move cattle and other livestock. Its compact 33cm shaft suits work in tight spaces like races, crushes and truck crates. The built-in LED light makes it a great choice for early-morning loading and night work.

Why It’s a Farmco Favourite:

The Dominator delivers a strong 6900v output from a sealed rechargeable battery, so you never get caught out by flat disposable batteries. It comes with both a 240v wall charger and a 12v vehicle charger, so you can top up at home or on the road. It’s tough, well balanced and designed for Australian conditions.

A Rechargeable Livestock Prod Built for Australian Conditions

Bainbridge has updated the Dominator with practical features that make livestock handling safer and easier. A high-quality LED light sits on top of the prod and runs off its own push switch, so you can light your work without holding a torch. The wrist strap sits at the rear of the unit, which keeps it clear of the handle and helps the prod hang balanced when you’re not using it.

Long-Lasting Rechargeable Power

The fully sealed NiMH battery resists memory and overcharging. With good care and storage, you can expect around 500 recharge cycles. That’s the equivalent of roughly 2,000 “C” batteries, or an estimated $3,725 saved on disposables.

A full charge from flat takes 8–10 hours. A red light shows the prod is charging and a green light tells you it’s ready. For the best battery life, run it fully flat now and then and avoid leaving it on charge all the time.

Compact and Easy to Handle

The 33cm shaft and 25cm hand piece give you a total length of about 58cm. That makes it easy to store in the ute or truck cab and easy to handle in close quarters. Bainbridge also offers the Dominator with 57cm and shafts if you need more reach.

Use Your Livestock Prod Responsibly
