What Farmco Recommends It For:

Advantix suits dogs needing serious protection from fleas, ticks, and biting insects. Plus, it’s ideal for paralysis tick prevention when used fortnightly. Additionally, it’s safe for puppies from 7 weeks of age, pregnant dogs, and nursing mums. So reach for it for full-spectrum external parasite control across the season.

Why It’s a Farmco Favourite:

Firstly, Advantix kills fleas and ticks on contact — no bite needed. Secondly, it also repels mosquitoes, sandflies, and stable flies. Plus, the formula stays effective after rain, swims, or baths. Furthermore, it tackles paralysis ticks when applied fortnightly. As a result, it’s a complete protection package Aussie dog owners trust through tick season and beyond.

Powerful Multi-Parasite Protection

Advantix from Elanco is a fast-acting, water-resistant spot-on for dogs. Moreover, it works on fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, sandflies, stable flies, and lice. Therefore, you cover the full range of biting pests with a single monthly treatment. As a result, your dog stays comfortable and protected year-round.

Kills Fleas and Ticks on Contact

Most flea and tick treatments need parasites to bite first. Fortunately, Advantix works differently. So fleas and ticks die simply by contact with the treated coat. In turn, your dog avoids the itch, irritation, and risk of tick paralysis or flea allergy dermatitis.

Repels Flying Biting Insects

Mosquitoes, sandflies, and stable flies cause more than just annoyance. Plus, they can carry serious diseases. Fortunately, Advantix repels these flying biters as well as ticks. So your dog stays comfortable on walks, paddock days, and warm summer evenings.

How It Works

Advantix combines two trusted active ingredients. Firstly, imidacloprid attacks the flea’s central nervous system to kill them fast. Secondly, permethrin blocks sodium channels in tick nerves to take them out quickly too. As a result, both parasites are dealt with before they cause harm. Plus, the treatment also kills larval flea stages in your dog’s surroundings.

Fortnightly or Monthly Application

Apply Advantix fortnightly to control paralysis ticks. Alternatively, use monthly for all other ticks, fleas, and insect protection. Therefore, you can match the treatment frequency to your dog’s risk level and local conditions.

Important Safety Note

Advantix is highly toxic to cats. So always keep cats separated from recently treated dogs for at least 48 hours. Furthermore, never apply Advantix to a cat under any circumstances. As always, follow the product label and check with your vet if unsure.

Advantix is brought to you by Elanco, a global leader in animal health. Moreover, Elanco’s products are backed by decades of veterinary research and innovation. As a result, you can feel confident giving your dog a treatment trusted by vets and pet owners worldwide.
