Flexolt Oral Lice Treatment for Sheep – Flexible Control When You Need It

Treat lice in any length of wool, rain or shine, with Flexolt – now available at Farmco.

Flexolt is the game-changing oral lice treatment for sheep and lambs*, delivering unmatched flexibility and simplicity in lice control. Designed for modern farming conditions, Flexolt uses a novel active that works systemically from within. Administered orally, this targeted solution eliminates the need for external applications like dipping or jetting, making lice control easier, cleaner, and less weather-dependent.

Total flexibility across your flock

With Flexolt, lice treatment is no longer tied to shearing schedules. This breakthrough solution is effective on sheep with short wool, long wool, off-shears, up to 7 days off-shears, and even unshorn lambs from 6kg. Whether you’re managing lambs at foot, integrating newly purchased stock, or addressing lice outbreaks in long wool, Flexolt adapts to your operational needs.

Unmatched convenience and reliability

Flexolt overcomes common lice control challenges. Unlike topical treatments, its effectiveness isn’t compromised by rainfall, cold weather, or poor shearing. Treat your sheep confidently regardless of environmental conditions. It also allows entire flocks to be treated at once during split shearing, ensuring thorough and consistent lice control.

Simple dosing and application

With a dose rate of 1.5 mL per 10kg of body weight, Flexolt delivers consistent results across all wool lengths. Available in 5L and 20L pack sizes, this ready-to-use formulation works with most standard drench applicators. Just ensure proper calibration before use, and always treat animals based on the heaviest weight in the group.

Safe and effective

Flexolt is safe for use in breeding rams, pregnant and lactating ewes, and ewes at the start of joining. However, it should not be used in lambs under 6kg or in ewes producing milk for human consumption.
