EAC In-SandOut Intestinal Sand Removal 1.5kg – Effective Sand Removal for Horses

EAC In-SandOut Intestinal Sand Removal 1.5kg is a scientifically formulated solution designed to support your horse’s digestive health by removing and preventing sand accumulation in the intestines. Horses often ingest sand unintentionally when they graze on sandy pastures or eat hay or grain in sandy areas. Over time, this sand accumulates in the large colon, leading to several digestive problems, such as chronic diarrhoea, weight loss, colic, and intestinal irritation. In some cases, the accumulation of sand can obstruct the digestive tract, further compromising gut health.

How EAC In-SandOut Works

Research has shown that a combination of psyllium husks and magnesium sulphate is highly effective in removing sand from the intestines. When used in the proper dosage, these ingredients work together to reduce sand accumulation and help alleviate related health issues. While psyllium husks are essential for sand removal, many horses are put off by the taste and texture of pure psyllium. EAC In-SandOut solves this problem by providing a highly palatable pellet formulation with natural flavours and sweeteners, ensuring your horse’s compliance while promoting optimal gut health.

Key Benefits of EAC In-SandOut

  • Stimulates gastrointestinal health and motility.
  • Effectively removes and prevents the accumulation of sand.
  • Highly palatable and easy to feed, with no sugar or molasses.
  • Backed by scientific research and proven to be effective.
  • Suitable for use alongside other EAC supplements, such as In-SideOut, In-Force, In-Stride, In-Fusion MSM, and In-Fusion HA.

Feeding Instructions

EAC In-SandOut should be added to your horse’s usual feed. For best results, feed it for no longer than 7 days per month. Always ensure your horse has access to clean, potable water. It is essential to confirm that your horse’s bowel movements are regular before starting the supplementation. If your horse is already on supplements containing magnesium, consult your veterinarian before feeding In-SandOut, as combining magnesium could lead to toxicity. Do not feed if your horse has an intestinal blockage or impaction.

Suggested Feeding Rates:

  • Prevention: 0.6g/kg of body weight for 5-7 days.
  • Removal: 1.2g/kg of body weight for 5-7 days.
  • 1x 250mL cup = approx. 200g of In-SandOut.
